I began drawing recently, my dog, Oreo was my first subject! The drawing led to painting, and that’s when it took off! I like taking photos of subjects and going back to paint it later. Nature and animals are my go-to but I also like sketching/painting people. I participate in my first art show earlier this year and actually sold a painting! I couldn’t believe it; I’ve never thought of myself as the creative type but I truly enjoy it! I can’t wait to see where this road takes me. I also try to encourage young people to give the arts a try. I was in a play this year as well titled “I am my ancestors wildest dreams”. I hope to have the opportunity to do acting again as well.
