Kiki Dunham was born in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. They moved from Oklahoma to Baltimore, Maryland shortly after, and then from Maryland to Cookeville, Tennessee. They grew up taking every art class available at school, from introduction pottery to advanced painting. After attending classes at the Appalachian Center for Craft, a satellite campus at Tennessee Tech University, Kiki began making their first official series. They combined their illustration and ceramics skills to produce a show of visually intense designs and hand-built ceramic canvases. Kiki graduated in the Winter of 2020 with a Bachelor’s degree in Fine Arts. Kiki lives in Cookeville, Tennessee with their two cats, Bobo and Mango and plans to make more ceramics, illustrations, and prints for the Upper Cumberland community.
